Areola Restoration Tattoo
Restoring confidence after surgery, trauma, or skin changes.
Designed to help you feel like yourself again.
Areola restoration tattooing creates a realistic 3D illusion, designed to restore the natural appearance of the nipple and areola. Using advanced pigment techniques, we carefully layer colour into the skin to achieve soft, natural-looking results. This treatment can help improve the appearance of scars, restore colour, and rebuild confidence.
Beatrice has trained with the UK’s leading tattoo artist Lucy Thompson. Lucy was the UK’s first nipple tattooer, founded the Nipple Innovation Project, works with the NHS to provide nipple tattoos and has recently done a collaboration with the NHS X TEDtalk.

Yes, in many cases we can carefully work over scar tissue to restore colour and create a more even, natural appearance. Each case is unique, so we assess this during your consultation.
-
We usually recommend waiting at least 6–12 months after surgery to allow the skin to fully heal. This ensures the best possible results and safe treatment. Please check with your surgeon their recommendation.
-
Most clients are surprised by how comfortable the treatment is. We use gentle techniques and can apply numbing where needed, so the experience feels very manageable and relaxed.
-
Typically 2 sessions are needed to achieve the final result. A second session allows us to refine the colour and detail once the skin has healed, ensuring the most natural outcome possible.
-
Over time, the pigment will naturally soften and fade slightly, just like any cosmetic tattoo. This is intentional, allowing the result to stay soft and natural. The tattoo will last up to 5 years. Most clients will only require a touch-up every 18-24 months.
