Designed to enhance your natural lips while keeping them soft, balanced, and effortless.
Every treatment is customised to your natural lip tone and desired outcome.
What to Expect
Every lip blush treatment begins with a personalised consultation and colour selection, tailored to your natural lip tone and desired result. Using a gentle technique with numbing for comfort, we create soft, natural-looking definition, designed to enhance, not overpower.
Immediately after your treatment, the colour will appear more vibrant before softening as your lips heal, settling into a subtle tint that blends seamlessly with your features.
A refinement session at 6–8 weeks perfects the result, ensuring an even, long-lasting finish. Most clients enjoy their lip blush for 2–3 years, with optional maintenance recommended every 12-24 months to keep the colour fresh.
This treatment is designed for effortless, everyday confidence — enhancing your natural lips while reducing the need for daily lipstick.
If you’ve had previous lip tattooing, please send through a photo prior to booking so we can guide you appropriately.
Have we convinced you yet on how stunning a lip tattoo can be? Are you tired from having to apply lipstick, lipliner or a lip stain multiple times a day?

The tattoo colour is custom mixed using high quality pigments to compliment your skin tone, lip colour & desired healed tattoo colour. It can be as soft & natural, or bold & saturated, as you would like it to be!
-
A numbing cream is applied throughout the process. Many of our clients actually fall asleep during the treatment!
-
Healing time: 3 - 7 days
Your lips will appear a lot darker and intense than what they will look like once healed. You need to trust the healing process!
Over the first few days they will be at their darkest. They might scab and flake, this is completely normal. The lips tend to fade around 70-80%. Please keep in mind that everyone’s skin will heal differently!
The true colour of the tattoo will not be revealed until after 4 weeks. The touch up is then completed at 6-8 weeks to perfect any areas that need some extra attention, as well as add more colour if needed.

Do not consume any caffeine or alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment. This includes coffee, energy drinks, pre-workout and tea. Do not take fish oils for a week before your treatment. Caffeine, alcohol & fish oils act as a blood thinner, causing you to potentially bleed during the process. This will stop the cosmetic tattoo pigment from holding in the skin during the tattoo process!
You should be using a lip scrub and lip balm every day for ONE WEEK leading up to your appointment. Lip scrub daily with a mix of sugar and olive/coconut oil (make up a small jar of 1 tbsp of sugar and 1 tsp of your chosen oil, alternatively you can purchase a lip scrub but this recipe does just the same!) and use this daily. You should also be using an ultra-hydrating & moisturising lip balm to get those lips smooth & soft! This allows the pigment to go into the skin easily, as well as the numbing cream to be effective.
If you suffer from cold sores you will need to take anti-viral tablets 1 week before and after the appointment. This is to stop the risk of infection! A cosmetic lip tattoo will trigger an outbreak if you do suffer from cold sores, so it is highly recommended that you take these tablets! Even if you do not suffer from cold sores it is always a good idea to take anti-viral medication too.
You won't be able to heavily exercise (cause the face to sweat), use a sauna, swim or tan for ONE week. Moderate exercise is fine.
Facials & skin peels should be avoided for one week pre & post tattooing.
Lip filler should be done 1 month before or after your lip blush appointment.
You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or before your menstrual cycle.

Following the aftercare instructions is extremely important in order to ensure good retention of colour during the healing process. Aftercare accounts for over 60% of the healed results.
Apply any medicated cream or healing balm as recommended by your technician. The cream should be applied for up to 7 days. Do not let the lips dry out - they should always have some form of aftercare balm or healing balm on at ALL TIMES! Aftercare cream can be purchased at your appointment for $30.
Avoid getting the area wet for up to 7 days, which includes keeping your face dry during a shower. Use a damp face cloth or face wipe to clean your face.
Use a damp cotton pad to gently wipe the area for the first day. This will reduce the build up of lymph fluid as the lips heal and reduce the chances of scabbing.
Don’t put makeup on your lips for at least 10 days. This is because the skin is still healing. Applying makeup to the lips will increase the chance of infection.
Don’t pick at scabs, tug, or itch the eyebrow area. Again, this will increase the chance of infection and possibly cause skin damage and scarring.
Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating until the area is completely healed, which may take up to two weeks.
Drink from a straw! You want to keep the lips dry while they are healing for a minimum of 3 full days.
Do not eat spicy or citrus-rich foods! Ouch…
Avoid kissing while the lips are healing! SORRY!
Long Term Aftercare:Wear lip balm that has at least SPF 15+ in it! Sun exposure over a prolonged period of time will fade the tattoo. Do not use strong chemical acids/ peels (salicylic, glycolic, lactic acids), IPL or laser on the healed cosmetic tattoo, as these will fade the tattoo over time.

Dark lips can get lip tattooed to be lighter & more even in colour. If you have darker tones, such as blue, purple or brown colours, within the lips, this can be neutralised first. Clients who are within the Fitzpatrick Scale 4, 5 & 6 may experience darker tones within their lips.
To neutralise the darker tones, this may take anywhere from 1-4 sessions. Please be aware that this is a journey, and not an instant result. You will not be able to achieve your desired colour in one session only. It is recommended that warmer colours are used, rather than cooler-toned colours.
If you suffer from hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation or keloid scarring, this unfortunately may not be a possible option for you.
